Interior painting in Helsinki, Espoo and Vantaa

Apartment and house painting from start to finish: walls, ceilings, trim and doors. Our team protects, primes, paints and cleans up — all you need to do is choose the colour.

What interior painting includes

Wall painting

Every room or a single wall. Help with choosing the shade and a test patch if needed.

Ceiling painting

Matt ceiling paint that evens out the light and hides small imperfections.

Trim, frames and doors

Skirting boards, window frames, doors and door frames in durable furniture paint.

Accent wall

One wall in a different shade or texture — a small job with a big effect on the room.

Minor preparation

Filling holes, repairing cracks and sanding are always included in the price.

Protection and clean-up

Floors and furniture are covered before work, and the space is cleaned at the end.

How interior painting proceeds

  1. Site visit: we look at the surfaces, agree the colours and you get a fixed price.
  2. Protection: floors, furniture, sockets and trim are covered.
  3. Preparation: washing, filling holes and cracks, sanding and priming where needed.
  4. Painting: usually two coats — the first covers, the second evens out the shade.
  5. Inspection and clean-up: we go through the surfaces together, remove the covers and tidy the space.

Good to know before you order

Modern water-based interior paints are almost odourless, and the room is usually usable the same day. If you live at home during the work, we do it one room at a time. Changing a dark wall to a light one often needs a third coat — worth knowing when the price is calculated. In older apartments the condition of the wall matters more than the paint brand: if the surface is poor, look at wall levelling first. We use Tikkurila and Teknos paints and always tell you which product goes on the surface.

Price and the household tax deduction

We always give a fixed price before work starts — the site visit is free and involves no obligation. The price depends on the area, the condition of the surfaces, ceiling height, how big the colour change is and whether the space is empty or furnished.

Household tax deduction (kotitalousvähennys): you can deduct 35% of the labour cost in your Finnish taxation. MaaliPro is in the prepayment register, so the deduction applies.
